key concepts
Language
The text is really bold and stands out. The '8' could symbolise the track format because that track is popular with racing game company's but 8 also means it's the 8th sequel of Mario Kart.
Institution
The company be hide Mario Kart is Nintendo. Nintendo have sold many copies of Mario kart 7 all over the world.
Audience
The people in which this game is targeted toward in my opinion is 7-16 but it can vary because this is a family game which the whole family can enjoy.
Representation
Mario kart is represented as a fun game which the family can have fun and interact.
fruit bowl
This colouring
designed by Salam Bounoua, Iqra Javed and Darnell George emphasises the feeling
and sense of old fashion through the colours utilised. As you can see the
picture we have used to collect the colours from isn't really a picture to
represent the olden times and is also not a picture taken in the olden times.
However we have impressively noticed that the colours in that picture represents
the olden days and so we have used it in the fruit bowl. The colours black and
white were used as the t.v's and pictures back in the day was (obviously) black
and white and the rest of the colours such as brown, orange, yellow and etc.
were used as it gives a real sense of old fashion!

camera shot's
The wide shot |
Wide shot was used for this scene to show the class room, the teachers movement and the bully pulling on victims blazer trying to stop him from going into the classroom.
The long shot We used this type of camera angle to show what all parties are doing; the body language of the victim, and what both of the bully's are doing to him. |
Medium close up This type of shot is used to capture the specific emotion in which the character is displaying. |

Candy Crush Saga
In this blog, I’m going to be writing
about the new worldwide phenomenon, Candy Crush Saga. Candy
Crush Saga is a puzzle game, where you have to match the different coloured
candies on a billboard full of different candy colours. The basic movement to
this game is vertically or horizontally swapping to match three or more of the
same coloured candies.
Each level has a specific
requirement which you have to match before you can move on to the next and are slightly
different hence different shaped bill boards or a timed level. Not many players of this game are aware that
the Facebook version of candy crush saga has 455 levels and the mobile app
version has 410 levels.
5 opportunities are given to
complete any given level. However, if
you fail to complete the level and run out of lives you will have to wait for
30 minutes or less for one life or you could ask your Facebook friends for
help. You would have to stay on the level until you complete it. You also have an opportunity to purchase
virtual items to assist you in your gaming.
Candy Crush Saga is an incredibly addictive game because you
want to be able to complete all levels knowing there is a way but not always
achieving it. It has surpassed Angry Birds and Farmville which has been the leading
game on Facebook since 2009. This is proof from daily mail one of the leading
news company.
Since 2003 king has been the
worldwide leader and pioneer in producing and delivering casual fun and witty

entertainment company for the ever growing mobile world we are now living

their competitors being Kings top title to date and one of the largest
interactive entertainment franchises.
King is very imaginative and
innovative and so they have to be, to be leading in the competitive market of
games. King develops games for the web and for mobiles, enabling them to access
the own player on Facebook to challenge or to help their friends. King has
produced over 150 games. The most popular game is in fact candy crush saga.
King released candy crush saga in April 2012 The game has been downloaded 10
million times after a month of release.
One of king’s promotional tactics
was to put an advert on television. I guess it worked hence the game is rated
the most played game on Facebook. Furthermore another technique they used was
the ads on the sides of Facebook. King even used Youtube to promote candy crush
saga.
